Track orders
Triage today's orders and answer a buyer in one ask — and leave history and totals to your synced order data, which answers instantly.
In short
Two live tools cover order tracking: search across orders, then drill into one. For history and totals, your synced order data answers at once, with no call to Amazon.
In your daily workflow
Morning check
"Any unshipped orders?" orders_searchOrders filters by fulfillment status and date, so you triage pending, unshipped or cancelled orders in one ask.
A buyer writes in
Paste the order ID. orders_getOrder returns that one order in full — status, items, shipping service, tracking — everything you need to answer the message.
"How did last month do?"
That is not an Orders-API question. Your orders sync into the warehouse continuously, and query_report_data answers revenue, units and repeat-buyer questions over any date range at once. See Synced reports.
"Where is the money for this order?"
finances_listFinancialEventsByOrderId itemizes the charges, fees and refunds behind one order. See Financial reports.
Try asking
"Show me unshipped orders from the last 7 days for myStore-US."
"What's the status of order 111-1234567-1234567?"
The search, both ways
The same tool and the same arguments — through your AI client, or from your own code.
MCP — you ask for unshipped orders; your agent calls orders_searchOrders with a status filter and a date range, pages through the results, and can write the list to your sheet to work through.

FAQ
Do orders show the buyer's name and address?
No. SellerSheet does not hold Amazon's restricted-data role, so an order shows at most the delivery city, country and postal code. See Data we never see.
Live or synced?
Live Orders tools for today's operational questions; synced data for anything historical or aggregated — it is faster and does not use Amazon's rate limits. For totals by period, also see Sales analytics.
