Sheets sidebar messages
Every message the Google Sheets sidebar shows belongs to one of nine families. Find yours by its words, and fix it.
Every message the sidebar shows belongs to one of these nine. Find yours by its words — or contact support with the message. Look for the sentence itself: the sidebar sometimes puts the button's name and "failed:" in front of it.

The store is missing or doesn't match
What you see: "Please enter the store (e.g. myStore-US) in cell A4." · "Please set store name with country code in cell B2" · "Store is missing in the selected row." · "Store (A3) is empty — select the store in row 3 first."
Actions that talk to Amazon or noon need the store, written <store>-<CC>: your store's name plus the marketplace's country code. The cell the message names is empty, or doesn't match one of your stores exactly.
- Find the exact name: SellerSheet app → Settings → Stores & Marketplaces, or the sidebar's mini Dashboard.
- Type it in the cell the message names, with the marketplace:
myStore-US,myStore-UK… Many of these cells offer a dropdown. - Click the button again.
Most often from: Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Ads suggestions, FBA. See also Store refs.
A step was skipped
What you see: "Missing Inbound Plan ID. Run step 1 first." · "STA-Options sheet not found. Run Phase 1 first." · "No placement option confirmed. Complete Phase 2 first." · "Nothing to stage — run Get Suggestions first."
The button needs the result of an earlier button in the same group — usually an ID that step writes into the sheet.
- In the sidebar, the group named after your tab lists the steps in order (1, 2, 3…). On an STA spreadsheet, the numbered stepper shows which step is DONE.
- Run the step the message names, wait for its notification, then click your button again.
- Steps marked Optional · when Initiate asks run only when the earlier step says so.
Most often from: FBA (STA box first / split first), the Sponsored Products Builder, Ads suggestions.
The wrong tab is open
What you see: "Wrong sheet! Expected sheet name starts with: …. You are in: …." · "This function only works from STA or Manage Shipments sheets." · "Not the Shipment tab — open the Shipment tab first." · "Sync Catalog runs on a Catalog tab — open the SellerSheet catalog workbook (or any sheet that has one) and run again."
The button works on one tab, and another tab is open. Buttons under Sheet-specific · active tab must match sit in a group named after the tab they need. For "Wrong sheet!", the open tab's name must start with the name the message gives.
- Read the tab the message names — or the name of the button's group in the sidebar.
- Click that tab at the bottom of the spreadsheet. If it is in another workbook, open that workbook first: the panel's Resources links open its spreadsheet.
- Renamed the tab? Give it back a name that starts with the expected one. Deleted it? See A template tab is damaged.
- Click the button again.
Most often from: Catalogs, A+ Content, FBA, Shipments.
The wrong row is selected
What you see: "Click a product data row (row 5+) first." · "Please select a data row (not a header row)." · "No rows selected. Tick the Select box (column A) on the rows you want to edit, then try again." · "Click the draft row (row 4 or below) first, then Send to Publish Queue."
The button works on rows of the sheet, and it found none: your cursor is in the header rows at the top, or no row is ticked.
- Read the first data row the message gives — "row 5+", "row 4 or below". Everything above it is header.
- A button for one row: click any cell in that row. A button for several rows (Edit, Delete, Archive, Apply Selected): tick the Select box in column A of each row.
- Click the button again.
Most often from: Images, FBA (Manage Shipments), Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Display, Catalogs.
A ✎ column is empty or invalid
What you see: "Missing required fields: …" · "Row …: "Box Weight" must be a positive number — got: …." · "… row(s) blocked before Amazon — fix the ⚠️ reasons in the Status column, then Create again." · "Warehouse Code "…" not found on the Shipment Setting sheet — add its row (gold ✎ columns) first."
A column you fill — its header carries ✎ — is empty, or holds a value the button can't use. These checks run before anything is sent to Amazon or noon.
- Read the field, row and value the message names. When rows are refused, each row's reason is in its Status column.
- Fill or fix that ✎ cell. Hover the header for its note: whether it is required, the format it takes and the values it allows. Many ✎ cells offer a dropdown.
- If the message names another tab, like Shipment Setting, add the missing row there first.
- Click the button again.
Most often from: FBA, Catalogs (the Publish Queue), Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Display, Shipments.
A template tab is damaged
What you see: "Sheet has no header row — restore the tab from the master template."
A template tab lost its header rows or columns. Fix: in the sidebar, open Settings → Workspace → Re-Initiate Resources: it re-creates whatever is missing and leaves everything that still exists alone. A re-created tab is an empty template, so make a copy first (File → Make a copy) if you want to keep old data.
Sign-in or Amazon authorization
What you see: "Your authorization was revoked, please reauthorize on sellersheetai.com/dashboard" · "Store … is expired. Please reauthorize." · "No connected noon store named '…'. Connect it on the dashboard." · "No Amazon stores connected. Please authorize your store on the website first. Once authorized or store is shared with you, click Refresh Workspace to update."
The sidebar reaches Amazon, Amazon Ads and noon with the authorization you gave in the SellerSheet app. Amazon's authorization of a store lasts 365 days, and it can be revoked sooner. Until you authorize again, every button for that store stops.
- Open the SellerSheet app → Settings → Stores & Marketplaces. The store's row shows its Store authorization and Ads authorization (Expired, Revoked, Expiring), and Issues lists each problem with the button that fixes it.
- Click Reauthorize on the store's row and sign in on Amazon's consent screen with the same seller account. For Amazon Ads, click Ads (or Reauthorize Ads in Issues). For noon, click Recheck, or Reconnect for an account you connected by signing in on noon; a noon account that isn't there yet needs Add noon account.
- Only the organization's owner or an admin has these buttons. A member asks one of them.
- Back in Google Sheets, close and reopen the sidebar (Extensions → SellerSheet → Open Sidebar) so it reads your stores again, then click your button again.
Most often from: any panel that talks to Amazon, Amazon Ads or noon. The fix is always in the app: Stores & Marketplaces.
Plan limits, Credits or file size
What you see: "Not enough credits: this needs …, you have …." · "Monthly sidebar operations limit reached (…). Any paid plan includes unlimited usage — upgrade at sellersheetai.com/billing." · "File size (… MB) exceeds the 10MB limit" · "Too many SKUs: … SKUs found. Maximum allowed is 20."
A limit stopped the button before it ran, so nothing was changed or charged. Either your Credits balance can't cover an AI action, the Free plan's sidebar operations for this month are used up, or the batch is bigger than the button takes.
- Credits: top up on Settings → Billing & Credits in the SellerSheet app (owner or admin) — the message's Buy credits → opens billing. Then click the button again. A failed AI action costs nothing.
- Monthly sidebar operations: upgrade the plan on Billing & Credits (owner only), or wait for the monthly reset. The sidebar's mini Dashboard shows your plan and usage.
- File size or too many SKUs: send fewer rows at a time. Validate (Preview) and Create/Replace/Del. take up to 20 SKUs; Submit Feed takes up to 25,000 in a feed file of at most 10 MB.
Most often from: Catalogs (the Publish Queue), Images, A+ Content, noon Listings — every button marked USES CREDITS. See Billing & Credits.
SellerSheet, Amazon or noon failed
What you see: "Create failed — see server logs." (or List, Edit, Delete, Archive… failed) · "SellerSheet server did not respond correctly (HTTP …). It may be busy or briefly unavailable — please try again in a minute." · "Failed to generate initial plan: …" · "Sync failed for every store (…) — the table below is unchanged."
The call to SellerSheet, Amazon or noon got no answer, or was refused. "— see server logs" means no answer came back to the sidebar. Those logs are SellerSheet's own: you can't open them, and you don't need to. When Amazon or noon refused, their reason follows the colon.
- Wait a minute, then click the button again. A busy server or Amazon's rate limits often clear by then.
- Before you repeat Create, Edit, Delete or Archive, click List with the same filters: the change may have reached Amazon even though the answer was lost. Repeat only what is missing.
- If Amazon's or noon's reason follows the colon, fix what it names in the sheet and click again.
- Still failing? Contact support with the exact message, the panel and button, and the time you clicked.
Most often from: Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Display, FBA (List Inbound Plans, Initiate Plan), Catalogs (Sync Catalog).
