Arguments
| Name | Type | Description |
|---|---|---|
storerequired | string | the store ref `<store>-<CC>` (name-country, e.g. 'myStore-US') — one of get_user_context's store_refs, verbatim. |
product_typerequired | string | Amazon product type string (e.g. 'LUGGAGE'). Get from productTypeDefinitions_searchDefinitionsProductTypes. |
include_schema | boolean | true downloads the full JSON Schema into data.definition.schema.content (large); leave it false unless you need the schema itself.Default: false |

requirements_enforced | string | ENFORCED (strict validation, the default) or NOT_ENFORCED (partial updates).ENFORCEDNOT_ENFORCED |
product_type_version | string | Version to retrieve. Default: LATEST. Use RELEASE_CANDIDATE for preview versions. |
locale | string | Locale for display labels in the response. Defaults to the default language of the first marketplace in the request. Allowed: DEFAULT | ar | ar_AE | de | de_DE | en | en_AE | en_AU | en_CA | en_GB | en_IN | en_SG | en_US | es | es_ES | es_MX | es_US | fr | fr_CA | fr_FR | it | it_IT | ja | ja_JP | nl | nl_NL | pl | pl_PL | pt | pt_BR | pt_PT | sv | sv_SE | tr | tr_TR | zh | zh_CN | zh_TW.DEFAULTarar_AEdede_DEenen_AEen_AUen_CAen_GBen_INen_SGen_USeses_ESes_MXes_USfrfr_CAfr_FRitit_ITjaja_JPnlnl_NLplpl_PLptpt_BRpt_PTsvsv_SEtrtr_TRzhzh_CNzh_TW |
parentage_level | string | Parentage level of the listing the schema is for. Amazon then resolves all conditional logic for that level and returns a smaller schema with fewer conditions — pass it when building a variation family. Allowed: NONE | CHILD | PARENT.NONECHILDPARENT |
Result
Every tool answers {notification, data, human_action}; data carries:
data.productType— the product type name.data.definition.propertyGroups— the attribute groups.data.definition.schema.link.resource— the JSON Schema's download link.data.definition.schema.content— (include_schema=true) the JSON Schema itself.data.definition.requirements / data.definition.productTypeVersion— what was served.
Workflow
- 1. productTypeDefinitions_searchDefinitionsProductTypes for the productType. 2. Call with requirements LISTING (and parentage_level for a variation family). 3. Read data.definition.propertyGroups; pass include_schema=true only when you need the JSON Schema itself.
