Call before ads_create_campaign to start it with a budget Amazon predicts will not throttle delivery. (Distinct from ads_sp_get_budget_recommendations, which covers existing campaigns.) Arguments
| Name | Type | Description |
|---|---|---|
storerequired | string | the store ref `<store>-<CC>` (name-country, e.g. 'myStore-US') — one of get_user_context's store_refs, verbatim. |
countryCoderequired | string | the Ads profile's 2-letter country code (e.g. 'US'). |
bodyrequired | object | {targetingType: 'auto'|'manual', adGroups: [{asins: [...], targetingExpressions: [{type, bid, value?}]}], bidding: {strategy}}. |
Result
Every tool answers {notification, data, human_action}; data carries:
- Amazon's payload in data.result.
data.result.dailyBudget— the suggested daily budget.data.result.specialEvents[]— up to 5 event-period budgets.data.result.benchmark— the expected impressions / clicks / conversions range.
Gotchas
- Each targetingExpressions item is an OBJECT and needs a bid, although Amazon's schema lists only type and value — without one Amazon answers 'TargetingExpression bid cannot be null'. value carries the keyword text for the KEYWORD_* types.
- targetingType is lowercase ('auto'/'manual') on this endpoint only — every other v1 tool uses the uppercase enum.
