Every tool answers {notification, data, human_action}; data carries:
- Amazon's payload in data.result.
Gotchas
- Amazon 500s ("Failed to get category recommendations") for some ASIN/marketplace combinations — relayed as an Amazon error, not a SellerSheet bug. Do not retry-loop; try other ASINs or use ads_sp_get_product_recommendations instead.
- Only entries with canBeTargeted=true can be used as targets.
- Best practice: call ads_get_refinements_for_category on a chosen category id to get the brand / age-range / genre facets, then create the target with ads_create_target, targetType='PRODUCT_CATEGORY' and targetDetails={"productCategoryTarget": {"productCategoryRefinement": { "productCategoryRefinement": {"productCategoryId": "<id>"}}}} (productCategoryRefinement is nested TWICE — the outer key is the wrapper, the inner one holds the fields).
