Any MCP client
Any client that speaks MCP over Streamable HTTP works — the URL, the transport, and the two ways to sign in.
Any client that speaks MCP over Streamable HTTP works.
Prerequisites
- A SellerSheet account with a connected store — Connect your store.
- A client that speaks MCP over Streamable HTTP.
- For a headless client, an API key.
Step 1: Copy the SellerSheet MCP URL
https://sellersheetai.com/mcpStep 2: Add SellerSheet in your client
- URL
https://sellersheetai.com/mcp, transport Streamable HTTP ("type": "http"or"streamableHttp"in most configs). - Interactive clients sign in with OAuth 2.0 + PKCE: the server answers the first request with 401 and points the client at
/.well-known/oauth-authorization-server; the client opens the browser. - Headless clients send
Authorization: Bearer <your key>.
Step 3: Sign in and test
- Sign in in the browser when your client opens it — or, headless, send the key.
- Ask: "Which stores can you see?" Your agent calls
get_user_contextand lists your store refs, such asmyStore-US, with your plan and each store's status. Every session should start there.
Test a key from a terminal:
curl -sS https://sellersheetai.com/mcp \
-H "Authorization: Bearer $SELLERSHEET_API_KEY" \
-H "Content-Type: application/json" \
-H "Accept: application/json, text/event-stream" \
-d '{"jsonrpc":"2.0","id":1,"method":"tools/list"}'Troubleshooting
"Unauthorized" (401)
Your sign-in or key expired or was deleted. Sign in again, or create a new key.
The browser never opens
Update the client — older versions don't support MCP sign-in — or use an API key.
"No stores"
Connect a store first: Connect your store.
Tools time out
Some Amazon reports take a minute or two. Raise your client's MCP tool timeout.
