# Catalogs (https://sellersheetai.com/help/sheets/sellers/catalogs)

> Your catalog, competitor research, AI listing drafts, restriction checks and the Publish Queue that creates, updates and deletes listings in bulk.

The **Catalogs** panel is where listings are researched, written and published. Each group of buttons is named after the sheet tab it works on — switch to that tab before you click.

## The sheets [#the-sheets]

| Sheet | What it is for |
| --------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |
| **Catalog** | Every SKU of one store (typed in A4, e.g. `myStore-US`), with thumbnails, from the SellerSheet warehouse. |
| **Listing Snapshot** | Your own listing as submitted (fetch by SKU) next to Amazon's catalog page (fetch by ASIN) — compare the copy. |
| **Catalog Research** | Competitor rows with content, BSR, Buy Box, offers, fee estimate and margin; pick a winner as your starting point. |
| **Listing Drafts** | AI-written or AI-optimized listing copy, translations, then a hand-off to the Publish Queue. |
| **Restriction Check** | Whether you can list an ASIN, plus its buy box price, rank and offer counts. |
| **Publish Queue** | Create, replace, partially update or delete listings — validate first, then publish a few rows instantly or the whole tab as a feed. |
| **Submission Log** | Results and issues of every validation and submission. |

## Main steps — publish listings [#main-steps--publish-listings]

<Steps>
  <Step>
    ### Get the template [#get-the-template]

    On **Publish Queue**, list the product types in D7:D and click **Get Template**: it builds the attribute columns (F onward) with guides from Amazon's schema. Rows 1–3 and columns A–E are kept, so it is safe to re-run.
  </Step>

  <Step>
    ### Fill the rows [#fill-the-rows]

    Type the values, or fill a row from an existing listing: **Fetch by ASIN** (Amazon's catalog), **Fetch by SKU** (your submitted listing) or **Fill from JSON**. These rewrite the whole row and clear a column the source lacks, and only run on rows whose Item Name is empty — clear the title to fetch again.
  </Step>

  <Step>
    ### Validate [#validate]

    **Validate (Preview)** checks up to 20 rows against Amazon without publishing. Issues land in **Submission Log**; fix them and validate again.
  </Step>

  <Step>
    ### Publish [#publish]

    **Create/Replace/Del.** runs up to 20 rows instantly, each by its operation type (UPDATE, PARTIAL_UPDATE, PATCH-DELETE, DELETE — a DELETE removes the SKU from Amazon and has no preview). **Submit Feed** publishes every row as one bulk feed of up to 25,000 rows; **Refresh Status** on Submission Log fills in the feed results.
  </Step>

  <Step>
    ### Back up [#back-up]

    **Backup** snapshots the tab into your Listing Log spreadsheet before a big change.
  </Step>
</Steps>

## Main steps — write a listing with AI [#main-steps--write-a-listing-with-ai]

1. On **Catalog Research**, **Fetch Catalog Data** for competitor ASINs (or **Discover by Keyword**), **Set as Winner**, then **Copy Winner to Drafts**.
2. On **Listing Drafts**, run **Image → Listing (AI)** or **Optimize Listing (AI)**; **Optimize Title (AI)** rewrites only the title and highlight; **Translate Listing (AI)** fills the languages listed on the Translations tab. Lengths follow Settings → AI Length Preferences.
3. **Send to Publish Queue** copies the draft into the first empty Publish Queue row — run Get Template for that product type first.

The AI buttons are billed from your Credits balance and refunded if they fail.

## Every button [#every-button]

| Button | 中文 | What it does | Effect |
|---|---|---|---|
| Sync Catalog | 同步商品目录 | Pulls every SKU of the ONE store typed in A4 (e.g. myStore-US) from the SellerSheet warehouse into the Catalog tab, with thumbnails. Filter afterwards with the row-5 column filter. | WRITES SHEET |
| Fetch by SKU | 按 SKU 获取 | Fetches your own listing (what you submitted) for rows with Store + SKU and an empty JSON cell; fills the ASIN too. Clear a row's JSON cell to re-fetch it. A row that fails shows the reason in its Image cell. | WRITES SHEET |
| Fetch by ASIN | 按 ASIN 获取 | Fetches Amazon's catalog page (what shoppers see) for rows with Store + ASIN, NO SKU and an empty JSON cell — yours or a competitor's. Put the same product on a SKU row and an ASIN row to compare the copy. | WRITES SHEET |
| Fetch Catalog Data | 获取目录数据 | Fills every competitor row with Store + ASIN (rows 5+) from the Amazon catalog: content, BSR, Buy Box, FBA/MFC offers, fee estimate, margin, and your own SKU if already listed. The winner row (4) is never overwritten. | WRITES SHEET |
| Discover by Keyword | 按关键词发现 | Searches Amazon by keyword and appends up to 10 new competitor ASINs as fully filled rows. | WRITES SHEET |
| Set as Winner | 设为最佳 | Copies the clicked competitor row into the winner row (row 4) as your listing starting point. | WRITES SHEET |
| Copy Winner to Drafts | 将最佳复制到草稿 | Sends the winner row (row 4) — identity, image and combined listing copy — to Listing Drafts for AI optimization. | WRITES SHEET |
| Send to Restriction Check | 发送至限制检查 | Adds the selected rows' Store + ASIN to the Restriction Check sheet to verify you can list them. | WRITES SHEET |
| Fetch by ASIN | 按 ASIN 获取 | Fills draft rows from the reference ASIN's catalog data (rows with Store + ASIN and an empty Image). | WRITES SHEET |
| Fetch by SKU | 按 SKU 获取 | Fills draft rows from YOUR OWN live listing by SKU — refurbish an existing listing (rows with Store + SKU and an empty Image). | WRITES SHEET |
| Image → Listing (AI) | 图片 → Listing（AI） | Sends the row's Image photo(s) + Instructions + Draft Keywords (each queued keyword MUST appear in the copy) to AI, which writes a complete listing into the AI columns: Item Name, Item Highlight, 5 Bullet Points, Description, backend Generic Keywords (fills Amazon's 250-byte budget) and PPC keyword ideas, plus A+ / image ideas. Lengths follow Settings → AI Length Preferences. | USES CREDITS, WRITES SHEET |
| Optimize Listing (AI) | 优化 Listing（AI） | Sends the row's Image + Instructions + Draft Listing + Draft Keywords to AI, which rewrites everything into the AI columns: Item Name, Item Highlight, Bullets, Description, backend Generic Keywords (fills Amazon's 250-byte budget) and PPC ideas, plus A+ / image ideas — facts are kept, only the copy improves. Lengths follow Settings → AI Length Preferences. | USES CREDITS, WRITES SHEET |
| Optimize Title (AI) | 优化标题（AI） | Sends Instructions + the row's copy (the AI columns, or Draft Listing when they are empty) + Draft Keywords + Image; AI rewrites ONLY the AI Item Name (kept under 75 characters so Amazon shows the Highlight) and the AI Item Highlight — bullets, description and keywords stay untouched. | USES CREDITS, WRITES SHEET |
| Translate Listing (AI) | 翻译 Listing（AI） | Target languages are set in the 'Listing Drafts · Translations' tab: add one row per language — same store NAME + SKU (the country code may differ: draft myStore-US matches translation row myStore-DE) + Locale (e.g. de_DE), Status left empty. One click sends the row's AI columns (fallback: Draft Listing) and translates ALL pending locales in a single AI call, marking each row OK. To redo one language, clear its Status. | USES CREDITS, WRITES SHEET |
| Send to Publish Queue | 发送至发布队列 | Copies the clicked draft row's SKU, Product Type and AI copy into the first empty Publish Queue row (ASIN → Merchant Suggested ASIN) and marks the draft SENT. On the Translations tab it sends the translated copy; the row's Locale must match the Publish Queue Listing Locale (B3). Needs SKU + Product Type + Item Name, and the Store must match Publish Queue A3. Run Get Template for that product type FIRST — only columns already on the Publish Queue receive copy. Choose the Operation Type there. | WRITES SHEET |
| Fetch ASIN Info | 获取 ASIN 信息 | One click fetches listing info (image, brand) plus buy box price, rank and offer counts for rows with Store + ASIN; rows whose Image is already filled are skipped — clear Image to refresh. | WRITES SHEET |
| Get Restrictions | 获取限制 | Check selling restrictions for every row with Store + ASIN. | WRITES SHEET |
| Get Template | 获取模板 | Builds attribute columns (F+) with guides from Amazon's schema, for the product types in D7:D. Rows 1-3 and columns A-E are kept — safe to re-run. | WRITES SHEET |
| Fetch by ASIN | 按 ASIN 获取 | Rewrites each row from the Amazon catalog (what shoppers see) for the ASIN in the Merchant Suggested ASIN column: every attribute column is refilled and a column the catalog lacks is cleared, so no stale value survives. Only rows whose Item Name is empty run — clear the title to re-fetch. A failed ASIN keeps its values and gets ⚠ in Brand; new attributes append at the right. | WRITES SHEET |
| Fetch by SKU | 按 SKU 获取 | Rewrites each row from YOUR submitted listing (SKU in column B): every attribute column is refilled and a column the listing lacks is cleared, so no stale value survives. Only rows whose Item Name (row 6) is empty run — a filled title means done; clear it to re-fetch. A row Amazon fails keeps its values and gets ⚠ in Brand. Also step 1 of PATCH-DELETE: fetch, keep only the cells to delete. | WRITES SHEET |
| Fill from JSON | 从 JSON 填充 | Rewrites each row from the JSON pasted in Attributes JSON (col E, e.g. from Listing Snapshot): every attribute column is refilled from it and a column the JSON lacks is cleared (the summary counts them), so no stale value survives. Only rows whose Item Name is empty run — clear the title to re-fill; the blob and columns A-E stay. Invalid JSON or a failed parse leaves the row untouched and is listed. Fill productType (col D) first. | WRITES SHEET |
| Validate (Preview) | 校验（预览） | Step 1 for every change: checks rows against Amazon WITHOUT publishing (max 20; DELETE has no preview and is skipped here). Issues land in Submission Log — fix, then publish with Create/Replace/Delete (≤20, instant) or Submit Feed (bulk). | READ |
| Create/Replace/Del. | 创建/替换/删除 | Create / Replace / Delete — LIVE, runs each row by its operationType, instant per-SKU results (max 20): UPDATE creates or fully replaces the SKU; PARTIAL_UPDATE / PATCH-DELETE change or delete only the listed attributes; DELETE removes the SKU from Amazon — irreversible, no preview exists. | LIVE ON AMAZON, WRITES SHEET |
| Submit Feed | 提交 Feed | LIVE — publishes ALL rows (any operationType) as one bulk feed, up to 25,000 rows; results appear in Submission Log. | LIVE ON AMAZON, WRITES SHEET |
| Backup | 备份 | Snapshots this tab into your Listing Log spreadsheet (named by SKU + timestamp) and records the link. | WRITES DRIVE, WRITES SHEET |
| Refresh Status | 刷新状态 | Asks Amazon about every Submit Feed row that is not finished yet and fills Feed Status, Result and Issues. | WRITES SHEET |

## Prefer to ask an agent? [#prefer-to-ask-an-agent]

An agent can run the same Publish Queue over MCP — prepare the template with [`listings_prepare_publish_queue_template`](/docs/mcp-api/tools/listings_prepare_publish_queue_template), validate with [`listings_validate_rows`](/docs/mcp-api/tools/listings_validate_rows) and submit with [`listings_submit_feed`](/docs/mcp-api/tools/listings_submit_feed) — while you approve the rows in the sheet.
