# Get started (https://sellersheetai.com/docs/start)

> Connect your store, connect the AI you already use, and give it its first job.

SellerSheet gives your own AI — Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Coze or any MCP client — the tools to run your Amazon and noon stores through Amazon's official SP-API and Ads API. You bring the AI; SellerSheet provides the MCP server, the skills and the data: <Count name="tools" /> tools, <Count name="skills" /> skills, <Count name="tables.total" /> synced report tables and <Count name="sidebar_buttons" /> Google Sheets sidebar buttons.

## Your first hour [#your-first-hour]

Five things to have done by the end of it, each with where it happens.

1. **[Connect your store](/docs/start/connect)** · *Web app* — authorize Amazon (and Ads, and noon) once, then choose the marketplaces that sync.
2. **[Connect your AI](/docs/start/clients)** · *Your AI* — add SellerSheet to Claude, Cursor, Codex, Coze or any MCP client. On Claude Code, Codex and CodeBuddy the [plugin](/docs/start/skills) adds the skills in the same step.
3. **Ask a first question** · *Your AI → Google Sheets* — "Pull the last 7 days of orders for myStore-US into a sheet, totalled by SKU." Your AI reads, writes the sheet, and changes nothing on Amazon.
4. **Approve a first change** · *Your AI + Google Sheets* — let your AI stage a change in a sheet, check the rows, then say "submit the rows I changed". Nothing reaches Amazon before you say so, and only on a store you gave [write access](/docs/mcp-api/control).
5. **Get Amazon's changes in your team chat** · *Web app* — add a webhook in [Settings → Webhooks](/help/app/settings/webhooks): at most one card a minute in Feishu, Slack, Teams, WeCom or DingTalk, or signed JSON to your own system.

## Prompts to try [#prompts-to-try]

Copy one, swap in your own store, and send it to your AI. More in the [prompt library](/docs/start/prompts).

* "Pull the last 7 days of orders for myStore-US into a sheet, totalled by SKU — units and sales." <br />`orders_searchOrders` <EffectBadge effect="read" />
* "List every SKU with less than 30 days of sellable stock." <br />`query_report_data` <EffectBadge effect="read" />
* "Raise these keyword bids 10% toward the suggested bid — write them to the sheet first, I'll confirm before you submit." <br />`ads_query_target` · `ads_update_target_bid` <EffectBadge effect="write" />
* "Make a white-background main image of my product in the style of this competitor shot." <br />`generate_image` <EffectBadge effect="credits" />

<EffectBadge effect="read" /> changes nothing on Amazon. <EffectBadge effect="write" /> changes your Amazon account and needs write access on that store. <EffectBadge effect="credits" /> is paid from your Credits balance, and refunded if it fails.

## Three ways to work [#three-ways-to-work]

One set of tools behind all three. Pick by the job:

* **Your AI** — ask in Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or any MCP client; it calls SellerSheet's tools and reports back. For questions, analysis and jobs of many steps. [Connect an AI client →](/docs/start/clients)
* **Google Sheets sidebar** — click through a panel in your own spreadsheet: FBA shipments, ads, store reports. Your team edits rows in bulk and keeps the record. [How the sidebar works →](/help/sheets)
* **Web app** — your stores, team, billing and webhooks, plus Products, Studio and the catalogs. [Tour of the app →](/help/app)
