# vendorTransactionStatus_getTransaction (https://sellersheetai.com/docs/mcp-api/tools/vendorTransactionStatus_getTransaction)

> Read the status of a vendor retail transaction (an invoice, acknowledgement or shipment submit).

Access: **READ** · toolset amazon_sp · family sp.vendorTransactionStatus

The submit tools already wait for Success or Failure, so call this after a submit answered HTTP 502 (still Processing after 60 s; the error names the id) or for a transactionId from elsewhere. Amazon SP-API · getTransaction · GET /vendor/transactions/v1/transactions/{transactionId}

## Call it

MCP tool call:

```json
{
  "name": "vendorTransactionStatus_getTransaction",
  "arguments": {
    "store": "myStore-US",
    "transaction_id": "<transaction_id>"
  }
}
```

Tool API (early access — contact us):

```bash
curl -X POST https://api.sellersheetai.com/api/v1/tools/vendorTransactionStatus_getTransaction \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer $SELLERSHEET_API_KEY" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{"store":"myStore-US","transaction_id":"<transaction_id>"}'
```

## Arguments

| Name | Type | Required | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
| `store` | string | yes | the store ref `<store>-<CC>` (name-country, e.g. 'myStore-US') — one of get_user_context's store_refs, verbatim. |
| `transaction_id` | string | yes | the transactionId (GUID) a vendor submit returned or named in its 502 error. |

## Result

- `data.status` — Amazon enum — 'Success', 'Failure', or 'Processing' (mirrors transactionStatus.status from data.raw).
- `data.errors` — list of error dicts (code, message, details) if 'Failure' (may be empty).
- `data.transactionId` — same as input.
- `data.raw` — full Amazon transactionStatus payload.

## Workflow

- 1. Pass the transactionId. 2. If status is 'Processing', wait 30–60 seconds and poll again. 3. On 'Failure': check data.errors for error codes and messages. Correct the submission payload and resubmit.
