# set_synthetic_performer (https://sellersheetai.com/docs/mcp-api/tools/set_synthetic_performer)

> Toggle Amazon's contains-synthetic-performer disclosure tag on an already-saved image, without regenerating it.

Access: **DESTRUCTIVE** · toolset sellersheet · family null

Set value=True when the image depicts an AI-generated person (Amazon requires the disclosure); set False to remove a tag that was added in error. Rewrites the R2 file in place — same cdn_url and version, only the embedded XMP metadata changes (webp is not yet supported: the tag needs a png/jpeg container).

## Call it

MCP tool call:

```json
{
  "name": "set_synthetic_performer",
  "arguments": {
    "store": "myStore-US",
    "id": 1,
    "value": true
  }
}
```

Tool API (early access — contact us):

```bash
curl -X POST https://api.sellersheetai.com/api/v1/tools/set_synthetic_performer \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer $SELLERSHEET_API_KEY" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{"store":"myStore-US","id":1,"value":true}'
```

## Arguments

| Name | Type | Required | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
| `store` | string | yes | the store ref `<store>-<CC>` (name-country, e.g. 'myStore-US') — one of get_user_context's store_refs, verbatim. Required — authorizes the image. |
| `id` | integer | yes | the canonical_images row id — read it from a list_generated_images row (NOT the job_id from generate_image / edit_image). |
| `value` | boolean | yes | True to add the disclosure tag, False to remove it. |

## Result

- `data.id / data.synthetic_performer` — the image and its flag as now stored.
