## Call it

MCP tool call:

```json
{
  "name": "read_sheet_format",
  "arguments": {
    "spreadsheet_id": "<spreadsheet_id>",
    "range_": "<range_>"
  }
}
```

Tool API (early access — contact us):

```bash
curl -X POST https://api.sellersheetai.com/api/v1/tools/read_sheet_format \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer $SELLERSHEET_API_KEY" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{"spreadsheet_id":"<spreadsheet_id>","range_":"<range_>"}'
```

## Arguments

| Name | Type | Required | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
| `spreadsheet_id` | string | yes | the spreadsheet ID (from its URL or get_sheet_metadata). |
| `range_` | string | yes | A1 notation range (e.g. 'Sheet1!A1:D100'). |

## Result

- `data.formats[]` — {sheet, row, col, value, format} per cell. row and col are 0-based (A1 = 0, 0). format is the userEnteredFormat (what was set on the cell), not the effective look after conditional formatting; get_sheet_cell returns both.

## Example

- read_sheet_format("1ABC...", "Sheet1!A1:D100")
