# productFees_getMyFeesEstimateForASIN (https://sellersheetai.com/docs/mcp-api/tools/productFees_getMyFeesEstimateForASIN)

> Estimate Amazon fees (referral fee + FBA/MFN fees) for a single ASIN at a given price.

Access: **READ** · toolset amazon_sp · family sp.productFeesV0

Amazon SP-API · getMyFeesEstimateForASIN · POST /products/fees/v0/items/{Asin}/feesEstimate Uses Product Fees v0 API. Note: ASIN-based estimates use catalog size, which may differ from actual item dimensions. For accurate FBA estimates after sending inventory, use productFees_getMyFeesEstimateForSKU instead. Net margin = price − data.totalFeesEstimate.Amount − COGS; never compute it when data.error is set.

## Call it

    "store": "myStore-US",
    "asin": "<asin>",
    "price": 1
  }
}
```
Tool API (early access — contact us):
  -H "Authorization: Bearer $SELLERSHEET_API_KEY" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{"store":"myStore-US","asin":"<asin>","price":1}'
```

## Arguments

| Name | Type | Required | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
| `store` | string | yes | the store ref `<store>-<CC>` (name-country, e.g. 'myStore-US') — one of get_user_context's store_refs, verbatim. |
| `asin` | string | yes | the ASIN (e.g. 'B0XXXXXXXX'). |
| `price` | number | yes | Listing price to estimate fees for (e.g. 29.99). |
| `currency` | string |  | ISO 4217 currency code for `price`. Omit to use the store marketplace's own currency (AE→AED, GB→GBP, JP→JPY, US→USD, …) — only pass this to override. |
| `shippingPrice` | number | | Shipping price included in the estimate (MFN only). Default None. |
| `isFba` | boolean | | True for FBA fee estimate, False for MFN (merchant fulfilled). Default False. |
| `points` | object | | Amazon Points offered with the purchase — Japan only. Shape {PointsNumber: int, PointsMonetaryValue: {Amount: float, CurrencyCode: str}}. Points reduce the price basis the referral fee is computed on. |
| `optionalFulfillmentProgram` | string | | FBA program override, only used when isFba=True; FBA_CORE is the default and FBA_SNL (Small and Light) is sunset — do not pass it. |

## Result

- `data.asin` — the queried ASIN.
- `data.price` — the price used for estimation.
- `data.isFba` — whether FBA or MFN fees were estimated.
- `data.status` — 'Success' or error status from Amazon.
- `data.totalFeesEstimate` — {Amount, CurrencyCode} — total estimated fees.
- `data.error` — null on success; on failure Amazon's {Type, Code, Message} saying WHY there is no estimate, and the Message is in notification.message too. A refused estimate is not zero fees — never write a blank or 0 fee to your sheet when data.error is set, because any margin computed from it is wrong.
- `data.feeDetail` — list of per-fee breakdown objects, each with: - FeeType: e.g. 'ReferralFee', 'FBAFees', 'VariableClosingFee' - FeeAmount: {Amount, CurrencyCode} - FinalFee: {Amount, CurrencyCode}
