# list_sheet_tabs (https://sellersheetai.com/docs/mcp-api/tools/list_sheet_tabs)

> List all tabs in the spreadsheet.

Access: **READ** · toolset google_workspace · family null

## Call it

MCP tool call:

```json
{
  "name": "list_sheet_tabs",
  "arguments": {
    "spreadsheet_id": "<spreadsheet_id>"
  }
}
```

Tool API (early access — contact us):

```bash
curl -X POST https://api.sellersheetai.com/api/v1/tools/list_sheet_tabs \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer $SELLERSHEET_API_KEY" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{"spreadsheet_id":"<spreadsheet_id>"}'
```

## Arguments

| Name | Type | Required | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
| `spreadsheet_id` | string | yes | the spreadsheet ID (from its URL or get_sheet_metadata). |

## Result

- `data.tabs[]` — {title, sheetId, index, gridProperties (rowCount, columnCount, frozenRowCount…)}. sheetId is the integer id that sheet_batch_update takes.
- `data.count` — the number of tabs.

## Gotchas

- The spreadsheet must be shared with SellerSheet's Google service account as Editor (workbooks set up by the SellerSheet sidebar already are); a permission error means the user has to share it.

## Example

- list_sheet_tabs("1ABC...")
