Amazon SP-API · confirmPackingOption · POST /inbound/fba/2024-03-20/inboundPlans/{inboundPlanId}/packingOptions/{packingOptionId}/confirmation Gate: approve, choice — interactive: show the change and the option (Amazon's preview first where one exists), wait for an explicit approve; autopilot: only when the seller's own words asked for this change, within named rule (one option, no tie); otherwise ask. After SUCCESS, call fbaInbound_setPackingInformation with one grouping per packingGroupId of the confirmed option (its packingGroups in fbaInbound_listPackingOptions), then fbaInbound_generatePlacementOptions.
