# dataKiosk_getDocument (https://sellersheetai.com/docs/mcp-api/tools/dataKiosk_getDocument)

> Fetch a Data Kiosk document by document ID.

Access: **READ** · toolset amazon_sp · family sp.dataKiosk_2023-11-15

Amazon SP-API · getDocument · GET /dataKiosk/2023-11-15/documents/{documentId} Use this when you already have a documentId (from a completed query's dataDocumentId field — note the field is dataDocumentId, NOT dataDocument). For the typical poll-and-download flow, use dataKiosk_getQuery instead.

## Call it

MCP tool call:

```json
{
  "name": "dataKiosk_getDocument",
  "arguments": {
    "store": "myStore-US",
    "documentId": "<documentId>"
  }
}
```

Tool API (early access — contact us):

```bash
curl -X POST https://api.sellersheetai.com/api/v1/tools/dataKiosk_getDocument \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer $SELLERSHEET_API_KEY" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{"store":"myStore-US","documentId":"<documentId>"}'
```

## Arguments

| Name | Type | Required | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
| `store` | string | yes | the store ref `<store>-<CC>` (name-country, e.g. 'myStore-US') — one of get_user_context's store_refs, verbatim. |
| `documentId` | string | yes | Document ID string (the dataDocumentId from a DONE query, or an errorDocumentId from a FATAL query). |
| `download` | boolean | | If True (default), fetches and returns document content. |

## Result

- `data.documentId` — the requested document id.
- `data.result.documentId` — Amazon document id.
- `data.result.documentUrl` — presigned URL to retrieve the document (expires after 5 minutes).
- `data.result.document` — raw document bytes (present only when download=True). This is the actual document content.
