# dataKiosk_cancelQuery (https://sellersheetai.com/docs/mcp-api/tools/dataKiosk_cancelQuery)

> Cancel a Data Kiosk query that is IN_QUEUE or IN_PROGRESS.

Access: **READ** · toolset amazon_sp · family sp.dataKiosk_2023-11-15

Amazon SP-API · cancelQuery · DELETE /dataKiosk/2023-11-15/queries/{queryId} Only IN_QUEUE and IN_PROGRESS queries can be cancelled; re-cancelling an already-CANCELLED query is a no-op (it succeeds). DONE and FATAL queries cannot be cancelled. Cancelled queries still appear in dataKiosk_getQuery / dataKiosk_getQueries results. Cancelling is a write operation and requires SP write access.

## Result

- `data.queryId` — the cancelled query id.
- `data.result` — empty — Amazon returns 204 No Content on success.
