# ads_sp_get_all_rule_events (https://sellersheetai.com/docs/mcp-api/tools/ads_sp_get_all_rule_events)

> Sponsored Products: list the special shopping events (Prime Day, Black Friday, …) with Amazon's suggested date range in this profile's marketplace.

Access: **READ** · toolset amazon_ads · family ads.sp

An eventId scopes an SP budget rule (duration.eventTypeRuleDuration.eventId on ads_create_budget_rules_for_campaigns) or a bid rule (recurrence.duration.eventId). Amazon Ads API · SPGetAllRuleEvents · POST /sp/v1/events Docs: https://advertising.amazon.com/API/docs/en-us/sponsored-products/3-0/openapi/prod#tag/BudgetRulesRecommendation/operation/SPGetAllRuleEvents

## Call it

MCP tool call:

```json
{
  "name": "ads_sp_get_all_rule_events",
  "arguments": {
    "store": "myStore-US",
    "countryCode": "<countryCode>"
  }
}
```

Tool API (early access — contact us):

```bash
curl -X POST https://api.sellersheetai.com/api/v1/tools/ads_sp_get_all_rule_events \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer $SELLERSHEET_API_KEY" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{"store":"myStore-US","countryCode":"<countryCode>"}'
```

## Arguments

| Name | Type | Required | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
| `store` | string | yes | the store ref `<store>-<CC>` (name-country, e.g. 'myStore-US') — one of get_user_context's store_refs, verbatim. |
| `countryCode` | string | yes | the Ads profile's 2-letter country code (e.g. 'US'). |

## Result

- Amazon's payload in data.result.
- `data.result.events[]` — {eventId, eventName, startDate, endDate}.
- `data.result.groupedEvents[]` — {groupedEventId, groupedEventName, startDate, endDate}.

## Gotchas

- Pass an eventId as recurrence.duration.eventId (with eventName) on ads_sp_create_optimization_rules to bound a rule to the event instead of hardcoding dates. Rule changes take up to 24h to take effect, so create event rules well before the event starts.
